OBJECTIVE: Allstate asked us to promote their new Safe Driver program. Drivers that agreed to allow Allstate to track their safe driving received discounts on their insurance premiums.
STRATEGY AND CONCEPT: We wanted to present them with a concept that would show potential customers how their safe driving habits could save them money. To do that, we built a Minnesota Driver’s test. When users started the quiz, the content they’d been viewing shifted to the left. Users were asked 10 questions. To those that got a fair number correct, we suggested that they sign up for the program. To those that struggled, we suggested that they become safer drivers. The final designs were done by Starcom in Chicago. The programming was done by team at Star Tribune.
