Based in Rochester, Minnesota, the Mayo Clinic is known worldwide for their expert medical care. Mayo Clinic wanted to solidify their brand in the Twin Cities. In particular, they wanted
to be seen as approachable while maintaining their reputation as experts.
We proposed Health Highlights, a weekly content marketing campaign. Each week, we publish a complex medical topic in an infographic. We also feature it on a responsive microsite. It takes Mayo’s expertise and makes it approachable.
The series is now entering its fourth year. Our internal metrics indicated a successful campaign. Over 500k people read it each week. Readers found it to be as valuable our editorial content. Our readers said they were more likely to drive to Mayo for certain procedures, and became more likely to use Mayo’s Web site (over WebMd.)
