OBJECTIVE: When Walker Art Center gave us the opportunity to help them promote their 75th anniversary, we were excited to work on it. When we saw their source materials, we were even more excited.
Part of the Walker's objective was to build their brand – and to reinforce the role that art plays in community dialogue. In particular, the wanted to highlight that art is a catalyst for questions. They chose to show this with a series of questions related to their art.
STRATEGY AND CONCEPT: We presented a few concepts. They chose our “unending questions” concept. It stretched their ad outside of the traditional ad space, and gave the viewer the sense of an infinite series of questions. Viewers could interact with the ad by toggling through the questions.
