Alerus, a North Dakoda based financial institution, wanted to increase customers in the Twin Cities. To do that, they needed to increase their brand recognition, which was low. They pride themselves on their service, and their culture evokes a folksy vibe.
We created Staying Financially Fit, a content marketing program that offered advice on financial issues to everyday Minnesotans.
By offering free advice in their folksy tone, we made demonstrated their commitment to service and made them more approachable. Our internal tracking showed that their brand recognition increased by double digits.
